Witch Cleric

 LV - abilities

1 - Spiritual Secrets, Spirit Bridge

Spiritual Secrets - At LV 1, can be done as a bonus action, ask the spirit to question for it to ask the target's soul, perform a Communing check; must be able to roll above 8 + creature's LV + CR; if successful the spirit looks into the eyes of the creature (if the creature doesn't have eyes it looks through other means that the soul interacts with the world) and gets the answer. If trying to do this to another witch class you have a +2 disadvantage when trying to do so. The range of this action is 30 ft + communing.

If failed and the target creature can interact with spirits, the spirit can bring back wrong information.

Your uses are equal to your communing skill. You regain uses after a long rest. Note if your allies are witches as well; as long as they're within range you may use your spirit ally to give them info directly instead.

At a +1 difficulty you may attempt to find other more than one question at a time.

Once you hit LV6 whether you take another class level in this or not your spirit ally can become a casting point (a casting point is the end point where the magic leaves) and or be the channler where you end up being the casting point instead.

Spirit Bridge - At LV 1, You make a bridge between the spirit planes and the world; you can spend 12 minutes meditating - your communing skill (cannot go below one) the spirit's true name you call upon you may contact, if successful you gain a possession token, this possession token can be used to cause a target to roll at a disadvantage when acting upon you unless they're a witch and or can interact with spirits themselves. You lose access to the possession token if you're not being possessed.

You may allow the spirit to enter your body; if you do so they can speak through you and speak any language, you may allow them to move at your discretion. For every 1 + communing minutes they're inside you will cause your max spell stress to drop by 1 until you take a short rest or long rest.

At the GM's choice they may speak through your character and have to perform a roll against with your willpower versus the spirit's wisdom if you don't want to be forced to be moved by said spirit.

Spiritual Channel Divinity - At LV2, you perform a roll against a creature, your communing check VS willpower check, within range of 30 ft + communing; if successful the creature starts to feel a spirit loom over them and on roll against attacks that apply holy dmg they have a -3 to their AC. If the creature is resistant and or immune to said dmg type then they lose it until they're let go of by the spirit, until a minute passed or your channeling point is interrupted.

You can also take an action to reel in your soul and bring in another spirit; if trying to apply it to an ally the steps for the roll against apply on the spiritual weakness divinity; if successful against another target and or yourself you can choose one dmg type to have a +2 AC against, holy, necro and or dark. If the creature is resistant and or immune to said dmg type then they lose it until they're let go of by the spirit, until a minute passed or your channeling point is interrupted.

The spirit ally can kick out other spirits from a living body and stop them from taking control of it.

At LV 5, whether you take another class level in this subclass or not you gain the effect of once you go unconscious you're still able to use your spirit as a way of becoming a channler or a casting point for your allies within 30 ft + communing, your spirit ally however cannot be used while unconscious. At LV 10 your spirit ally can be used while you're unconscious.

At LV 8, whether you take another class level in this subclass or not you gain +2 AC while someone is possessed.

Divine Status Channeling - At LV 7, you can take status from other targets if you roll against your wisdom check versus willpower check; if successful a target within the within range of 30 ft + communing you can spread the status effect.

Spirit Actor - At LV 8, all your abilities in this subclass and or other spirit actions become a spirit action take up instead. You have spirit actions equal to your wisdom modifier. A spirit action is a bonus action but for your spirit related abilities instead.

A recent creature that went conscious/ died last combat round you can still apply the status to another target. You can only use one status at a time.

When using Spirit bridge, apply the status from the spirit, said status from the spirit is the status it was applied with when it died and or died too.

Regain spirit actions every long rest.
